The International Republican Institute needed a backdrop for an event they were hosting during the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. For this project, I designed a large, step-and-repeat style backdrop that featured IRI’s iconic globe shape in the center. The step-and-repeat pattern alternated between IRI’s traditional logo and their website/twitter handle. This ensured that speakers were always framed by IRI’s logo and social media information, encouraging online engagement during the event. The larger globe allowed the seated panel to be framed within the cohesive backdrop. Endcaps featuring IRI’s website and twitter handle allowed attendees to engage with IRI online.
